Using XSLT

The "XSL" tab allows you to style and determine the presentation of the content included within design templates.

Similar to CSS, XSL allows you to create a separate stylesheet that will describe how to convert a document's XML data into a visually appealing web page for users to see on your site.

By keeping the presentation separate from the content, you are also making it so that users can view a page's content in whatever format is best for them, as they can very simply make whatever modifications to the stylesheet that they would like.

Despite similarities with CSS, XSL makes use of XML notation rather than its own, and has the ability to create more complex formatting than CSS (which can be useful for features such as tables of contents and indexes).

The two are not mutually exclusive options, however. They are designed for different purposes and can be used to complement each other in the creation of powerful design templates.

In order to make use of the "XSL" tab, simply enter the desired code into the "Source" editor window, taking advantage of the useful tag shortcuts located in the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Once you are done, click "Save," and the template(s) in question will be updated to incorporate the styling features that you have just defined.
