Forums "Browser" Tab

The "Browser" tab allows you to view all of the important information and statistics for each of your site's discussion forums in one convenient and comprehensive table.

In the table, you can see how many threads and posts exist under each individual forum, as well as view the details of the latest post that was made within each of the forums.

Also, by clicking on a particular forum's name, you can access an individual table containing statistics just for the forum in question. New threads can also be added to the forum here by clicking on the "Add" icon in the upper right-hand corner and filling out the "Post Form" as desired.

Should you wish to read all of the posts within a forum, this can also be done in the "Browser" tab by simply clicking on the icon found in the desired forum's "Last Post" column.

From here, you have a number of options.

Reply:

First, you can choose to reply to a particular post. In order to do so, simply click on the "Reply" icon in the desired post's row of the table.

In the window that appears, you can enter your text into the "Message Body" field, making use of the provided emoticons as you wish. You can also select whether or not you would like to be notified by email about future posts in this thread, as well as whether or not you would like to attach a file to your post. Finally, you can specify whether you would like the post to be visible to everyone or have it left unmoderated.

Once you are done, you can select "Preview" in order to make sure that you are happy with your post's appearance before clicking "Submit."

Should you wish to include the text of the post to which you are responding in your reply, you can use the "Quote" icon in the desired post's row instead of the "Reply" icon, and then follow the same procedure described above.

Edit:

In order to edit a particular post, simply click on the "Edit" icon located in the desired post's row of the table.

In the "Post Form" window that appears, you can modify which forum the post is included in using the "Forum" drop-down menu, as well as modify the post's priority using the "Thread Priority" drop-down menu.

You can then modify the text making up the post's subject line and body, as well as select whether or not you would like to include an attachment with your post and/or receive email notifications about future posts in this thread.

Finally, you can specify what you would like to do with the post: make it visible to everyone, leave it unmoderated, or remove it from the forum.

Once you are finished modifying the post, you can select "Preview" in order to make sure that you are happy with the changes you have made, and then click "Submit."

Remove:

In order to remove a particular post from the forum, simply click on the "Remove" icon in the desired post's row of the table.
