How To Create Forums

In order to create a new forum, simply click on the "Add" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the "Discussion Forums" table.

In the form that appears, simply enter an appropriate name and description for the categorical folder that will contain your forum, and specify whether or not you would like the forums within this folder to be active and moderated on your site.

Once you are finished, click "Save," and the new overarching forum category should appear in the "Discussion Forums" tree alongside an icon depicting a yellow folder .

In order to add a forum to the overarching folder (in order to focus discussion on specific area of the broader category or topic), simply click on the "Add" icon in the desired folder's row of the "Discussion Forums" table.

In the form that appears, simply enter an appropriate name and description for the forum, and specify whether or not you would like the forum to currently be active and moderated on your site.

Once you are finished, click "Save," and the new forum will appear in the "Discussion Forums" tree underneath the specified folder.

Should you wish to narrow the scope of discussion even further at some point, you can create sub-forums under existing forums by selecting the "Add" icon in the desired forum's row of the "Discussion Forums" table and following the same procedure described above.
