Visibility Rights

With regards to the second field of the "Menu" tab, that of Visibility Rights, the options available to you will be different depending on whether the page is static or dynamic.

Static Pages:

If you have set the page to "Static" (this option can be found within the "Page" tab), your only choice is whether to make the menu item visible to everybody or nobody.

In order to specify whether it will be visible or not, simply click the on the "Edit" icon within the "Visibility Rights" field, and then click within the small box labeled "The menu item is visible in the menu," to either produce a check mark (making the menu item visible) or to get rid of an existing check mark (making the menu item invisible).

Dynamic Pages:

When dealing with a dynamic page, there are more options to consider.

By clicking on the "Edit" icon within the "Visibility Rights" field, you will be able to specify which individual groups can and cannot view the menu item.

The default setting will be for everybody to have the right to view the menu item.

After selecting the "Edit" icon, however, you can use the right and left arrows to move groups between the two columns (as illustrated in the image below), which are used to specify and differentiate between those who you wish to be able to view the menu item and those who you do not.

The menu item will be made visible to those groups placed in the left-hand "Has Right" column, while remaining invisible to those located in the right-hand "No Right" column.
