Job Description
Do you love to code? We are looking for a passionate web programmer, who has been using PHP and MySQL to develop dynamic websites for a minimum of two years.
We are particularly keen to recruit someone with loads of experience developing enterprise level web-based applications.
Basic requirements:
- 2+ Years experience developing database driven web applications using PHP, MySQL, XML
- Working knowledge of XSL and HTTP protocol (caching, return codes, debugging)
- Has developed commercial-grade Internet applications (or been part of a team that developed excellent web applications
- Knowledge of secure programming best practices
- Experience writing project requirements and documentation
- Skills/knowledge that will be an advantage: Linux, Javascript/jQuery, NGINX, wireshark, clustered applications, GIT, shell script, Browser Compatibility, MIME Email, CSS, UML
- Ability to check your ego at the door, and take part in clear-headed brainstorming sessions and arguments for the betterment of the product, not your own self-esteem
- Good sense of humor with the ability to stay relaxed and have fun
- Strong attention to detail
